-3 - <br />ANNOUNCEMENTS Staff announced the two events coming up including <br />the Lakeside beach house dedication on June 9 and <br />the Hillview Park Open House on June 16, 1990. <br />YOUTH ATHLETIC PROGRAMS Staff reviewed the summer youth athletic programs <br />informing the Commission that over 45 coaches were <br />certified with the National Youth Sports Coaches <br />Association. Also, as usual, the number of <br />participants is equal to other cities of twice the <br />population. Five youth leagues are jointly held with <br />neighboring communities. Mounds View staff <br />administers three of these five leagues. <br />PARK SIGNS Staff displayed a park sign used in the St. Paul <br />parks.
