A supporter of the Urban Homeworks is in the market to buy a
home. He/She is looking for homes ranging from $300K-$350K.
He/She agrees to use a Purchase With A Purpose realtor to find
a home. They make an offer on a home for $300K that is listed with
a 2.7% buyers agent commission ($8,100)
The realtor agrees to give back 30% of their commission ($2,430).
This supporter of Urban Homeworks will receive $1,430 as a realtor
credit to be used towards closing cost and Urban Homeworks will
receive a check directly from the realtors broker for $1,000.
PRMG will also provide the client with a 50BPS credit (.5% of the
total loan amount). The client agreed to put down 20% on the home
so the total loan amount is now $240K, which means PRMG will offer
a lender credit of $1,200 to be applied towards closing cost.
The client will now have $2,630 to cover closing cost and they will
get a receipt for $1000 donation paid to Urban Homeworks in their
name.
