MINUTES OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE <br /> • PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> February 27, 1992 <br /> 6: 30 p.m. <br /> Council Chambers <br /> CALL TO <br /> ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 6: 30 p.m. by <br /> Chairperson Burmeister. <br /> ROLL CALL: Commissioners present: Chairperson Burmeister, <br /> Commissioners Starr, Trettel, Dentz, and Long. <br /> Commissioners absent: Silvis and Stevenson <br /> Councilmember present: Wuori <br /> Staff present: Saarion, Director <br /> APPROVAL OF <br /> MINUTES: Commissioner Trettel made a motion, seconded by <br /> Commission Dentz to approve the minutes of the <br /> January 23 , 1992 minutes. Motion passes, 5 Ayes, <br /> 0 Nayes. <br /> . REPORTS: There were no special reports by Chairperson <br /> Burmeister or Councilmember Wuori. <br /> UPDATES: Director Saarion updated the Commission on several <br /> projects. The RSCC is continuing to be a viable <br /> group meeting twice each month. The bill has been <br /> introduced at the Legislature in committee but no <br /> news yet. Many Seniors have been attending the <br /> meetings. <br /> Vandalism at Silver View: There was an incident <br /> where vandals pryed the door open, cutting the <br /> bolts and entering the kitchen, breaking the cover <br /> of the electrical meter and cutting the locks on <br /> the serving window. <br /> The ice skating season has ended. Statistics will <br /> be provided at the March meeting. <br /> The Trailways Advocacy Group meeting will be held <br /> on March 5 at 7: 00 p.m. Director Saarion will <br /> facilitate the meeting and Commissioner Stevenson <br /> will serve as the City Representative from the <br /> Planning and Parks and Recreation Commission. \ <br /> • The letter in the packet regarding the permit for <br /> wetland alterations informs us that the permit is <br />
