RESOLUTION NO 9943 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />APPROVING POLICE COMMUNITY SERVICE OFFICER (CSO) JOB DESCRIPTION <br />AND AUTHORIZE A RECRUITMENT PROCESS <br />WHEREAS, Staff is requesting the City Council approve a part-time non-exempt <br />Community Service Officer (CSO) job description and authorize a recruitment process; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, individuals eligible to apply for the position are required to be currently <br />enrolled in a post -secondary law enforcement program or college level course in criminal <br />justice or police science; and <br />WHEREAS, once hired for the position, the CSO candidate would provide non - <br />licensed police support to the police department; and <br />WHEREAS, the CSO position will work 20 — 29 hours per week, and accrue <br />vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay.
