Stat. § 13.393 <br />DESCRIPTION OF DATA: The use, collection, storage, and dissemination of data by the City <br />Attorney is governed by statutes, rules, and professional standards concerning discovery, <br />production of documents, introduction of evidence, and professional responsibility. Data which <br />is the subject of attorney -client privilege is confidential. Data which is the subject of the `work <br />product" privilege is confidential. <br />Civil Investigative Data <br />CLASSIFICATION(S): Confidential/Protected Nonpublic/Not Public/Public <br />GOVERNING STATUTE: Mum. Stat. § 13.39 <br />DESCRIPTION OF DATA: Data collected as part of an active investigation undertaken to <br />commence or defend pending civil litigation, or which are retained in anticipation of pending <br />civil litigation are classified as protected nonpublic data pursuant to Minnesota Statutes <br />SeetianA�� 13.02, subdivisi-ensubd. 13, in the case of data not on individuals and <br />confidential pursuant to Minnesot., Statutes Seeti .r, ina Ctat. s 13.02, subdivisionsubd. 3, in the <br />case of data on individuals. The City may make any data classified as confidential or protected <br />nonpublic accessible to any person, agency or the public if the City determines that the access <br />will aid the law enforcement process, promote public health or safety or dispel widespread rumor <br />or unrest. <br />Community Dispute Resolution Center Data <br />CLASSIFICATION(S): Private/Public <br />GOVERNING STATUTE: Minn.
