EXHIBIT B <br />NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a special election has been called and will be held in <br />the City of Mounds View, Minnesota, on November 5, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 <br />a.m. and 8:00 p.m. to vote on the following question: <br />CITY BALLOT QUESTION <br />SHOULD THE CITY ADOPT ORGANIZED RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE <br />COLLECTION? <br />Should the City establish a system for organized residential solid waste collection <br />in which most residential dwellings will have trash, recycling, and other solid waste <br />collected by a City -designated hauler in a City -designated collection district? The <br />organized collection system would replace the current competitive market <br />collection system. A "Yes" vote is a vote to allow organized collection. A "No" vote <br />is a vote against organized collection. <br />O YES <br />O NO <br />The precincts and polling places for this special election are those precincts which <br />have been established by the City for state general elections. These polling places are <br />as follows: <br />Precincts 1, 2, 3, and 4: Mounds View Community Center <br />5394 Edgewood Drive, Mounds View MN 55112 <br />Any eligible voter residing in the City may vote at said election at the polling place <br />designated above. The polls for the Special Election will be combined for said election <br />and will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. on the date of said election. <br />A voter must be registered to vote to be eligible to vote in this election.
