The Minnesota Gambling Control Board requires that the <br />local unit of government approves or denies any request to conduct charitable <br />gambling. <br />Discussion: <br />Attached is an application from the Mounds View Police Foundation to conduct <br />charitable gambling, specifically Excluded Bingo, at the Festival in the Park, to be held <br />on Saturday, August 17, 2024. Also attached is a letter from the IRS determining the <br />foundation's status as a non-profit entity organized under the Internal Revenue Code <br />501(c)(3).
