maintain the appearance of the vehicle,eliminate or control insect infestation,and to <br /> control odor. <br /> 2.12.5 The bodies of the Collection Vehicles shall have the individual Hauler's name <br /> displayed and easily readable under normal conditions. <br /> 2.12.6 The collection equipment shall be maintained in good working order. All Collection <br /> Vehicles shall be equipped to meet all federal, state, county, and city laws, statutes, <br /> regulations, ordinances, and policies concerning vehicles used on City streets and <br /> maintained to meet these standards. <br /> 2.12.7 All vehicles shall be equipped with safety equipment as required by any federal,state, <br /> county,and city laws,statutes,regulations,ordinances,and policies. <br /> 2.13 Hauler Employees <br /> 2.13.1 All employees hired by Hauler shall be competent and skilled in the performance of the <br /> work to which they may be assigned. All drivers of Collection Vehicles shall have <br /> passed all background checks required by law and meet all other requirements of <br /> federal,state,county,and city laws,statutes,regulations,ordinances,and policies.No <br /> Hauler employees shall pose a threat to the safety of the residents of the City. <br /> 2.13.2 The employees shall not use loud or profane language or vulgar or derogatory hand <br /> signals and shall always be courteous to all persons. <br /> 2.13.3 Hauler employees shall not scavenge Solid Waste of any type or form.The City shall <br /> not knowingly allow the scavenging of Recyclables and cannot divert or withdraw any <br /> Recyclables or materials from Carts unless mutually agreed upon. <br /> 2.13.4 Hauler employees and Collection Vehicles will remain on public access roads.Hauler <br /> employees and Collection Vehicles shall only drive over private property if requested <br /> by property owners and performed lawfully pursuant to a separate written contract. <br /> Any damage caused to private property by Hauler,a Hauler employee,or Collection <br /> Vehicle will not be the responsibility of the City. <br /> 2.13.5 Failure or delay in the performance of duties described herein due to Hauler's inability <br /> to obtain employees of the number and skill required shall not be considered a Force <br /> Majeure event or otherwise excuse a Hauler's failure to perform as required by this <br /> Contract. <br /> 2.14 Hours and Days of Operation <br /> Collection of any Residential Solid Waste shall not start before 7:00 a.m.or continue after 7:00 <br /> p.m. on JEACH]Collection Day;or for weeks containing a Holiday,on the day immediately Formatted:Highlight <br /> following Collection Day. <br /> 2.15 City-Established Collection Days <br /> The designated Collection Day(s)shall be LTBD].
