ORDINANCE NO. 1015 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV LAND USAGE, CHAPTER 150.050 BUILDING REGULATIONS; CONSTRUCTION; PERMIT REQUIREMENTS THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title XV, Section 150.050 Permit Requirement, of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the . material as follows: § 150.05 PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. (b) An electrical inspector designated by the city shall be a licensed master or journeyman electrician as defined under Minnesota Statutes, and shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of the National Electrical Code as directed by the City's Building Official. (c) The s+�s City's designated electrical inspector, shall, if applicable, inspect and approve all electrical work before city approval of the final building inspection and before the city issues a certificate of occupancy. (d) No permit shall be required for electrical installations of equipment owned, leased, operated or maintained by a public service corporation which is used by said corporation in the performance of its function as a utility, except that such electrical installation shall conform to the minimum standards of the National Electrical Safety Code.
