CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW PARK BUILDING <br />ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />The City of Mounds View, Minnesota, is requesting bids for the following: <br /> <br />Project #2004-006 <br />Groveland Park Building <br /> <br />The proposed Groveland Park Building is a 1217 square foot masonry building. It will be nearly identical to the existing Hillview Park Building pictured below. <br /> <br />Bids will be received until 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 21, 2006, at the Mounds View Community Center, 5394 Edgewood Drive, Mounds View, Minnesota 55112, at which time and place all <br /> bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bids will be considered for award at the next regular City Council meeting, Monday, February 27, 2006. <br /> <br />Proposals must be placed in a sealed envelope with the statement thereon indicating proposal bid contained within and addressed to the City of Mounds View, Minnesota. Proposals shall <br /> be submitted for the furnishing of all labor, equipment, and materials, and for performing all work in connection with the above stated project. <br /> <br />Drawings and specifications are on file at the office of TKDA, 1500 Piper Jaffray Plaza, 444 Cedar Street, St. Paul, Minnesota, 55101-2140, at the Minneapolis and St. Paul Builders Exchanges, <br /> and at the McGraw Hill Construction Dodge Plan Room. Contractors desiring drawings and specifications for personal use may secure them at TKDA upon payment of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) <br /> for each set. The deposit for one set of drawings and specifications will be refunded to all bona fide bidders and to each subcontractor who submits a bona fide sub-bid for the principal <br /> mechanical or electrical construction, and one-half of the amount of the deposit will be refunded for each additional set providing such drawings and specifications are returned in <br /> good condition within 15 days after the date set for the opening bids. Subcontractors for the principal mechanical and electrical work will be required to certify that they bid to one <br /> or more of the prime bidders in order to qualify for the full refund of deposit. One-half the amount of deposit will be refunded to all other subcontractors and others, and also to <br /> contractors who fail to bid, for each set of documents so returned. <br /> <br />All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, payable to the City of Mounds View, Minnesota, in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid, conditioned that <br /> if the bidder is the successful bidder he will enter into a contract in accordance with said bid and will furnish such performance bonds if specified.
