<br />MOUNDS VIEW LIONS CLUB <br />5086 Eastwood Road <br />Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> <br /> <br />February 21, 2006 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Dear Grant Reviewer: <br /> <br />The Mounds View Lions Club would like to express our full support for the City of <br />Mounds View in their grant application to implement a trail system along County Road <br />10. <br /> <br />City Staff and the City Council for Mounds View have been working towards a goal of <br />building a trail system along County Road 10, which runs diagonally through the center <br />of our community. This highway is one of the major routes for traffic going between St. <br />Paul and the northern suburbs that effectively addresses pedestrian and non-motorized <br />vehicle needs. <br /> <br />Building a better, SAFER and more attractive way for vehicles and pedestrians to share <br />this roadway would benefit our community along with the surrounding communities. <br /> <br />Thank you for your consideration.
