<br />Facility Guide The City of Mounds View takes great pride in its parks and recreation facilities. The parks, natural areas, and community center enhance the quality of life for Mounds View residents. Residents can choose to take a leisurely walk on the many miles of trails, participate in organized recreational activities, or explore the tunnels on one of the many playgrounds. Through the parks and recreation system, residents can stay active and healthy at any stage of their lives. Mounds View Community Center Located just off of County Road 10 and Edgewood Drive, the Mounds View Community Center is the hub for indoor activities and community meeting space. Amenities include a banquet center, double gymnasium, meeting rooms, and commons area. This facility is available for rental. Lakeside Lions Park With 2 picnic shelters, a gazebo, beach, fishing pier, and walking trails, this 11-acre park is a favorite of many residents. Lakeside Lions Park is a joint facility with the City of Spring Lake Park. For information on reserving this facility, please call the City of Mounds View Silver View Park Silver View, Mounds View’s largest park, offers residents a great place to picnic. There is large picnic shelter with a kitchen. Silver View also has a playground, horseshoe pits, ball fields, and miles of trails meandering throughout the park and pond.. Greenfield Park Greenfield is host to an official Little League sized baseball diamond. The large playground and tennis courts are very popular within the community. City Hall Park City Hall Park is home to the City’s Annual Festival in the Park. It consists of a lit adult softball field, smaller youth softball fields, picnic shelters, and sand volleyball courts Lambert Park Lambert is always active with baseball, softball, soccer, skating, and hockey. The warming house provides a respite from the winter cold. Mounds VCity of Random Park Random Park is commonly used by families with young children. The smaller tot lot and swings keep little ones busy. This park also has a beautiful building that is available for rental for meetings, parties, and other functions. Groveland Park Groveland is a shady park, great for picnics, tennis, and active play on the playground. This facility also boasts a community building with kitchenette, sand volleyball courts, and a ball field. Hillview Park Hillview offers a great variety of recreation activities. Located on Long Lake Road, Hillview has a building, paved hockey rink, pleasure rink, baseball field and a playground. Facility Rental The buildings, athletic fields, and community center are available for rental to community groups and residents. Please call the community center for more information. <br />1. City parks are open from 6:00 am until 10:00 pm.
<br />2. Motorized vehicles of any type are restricted to
<br />roadways and designated parking lots. Any vehicles
<br />parked in an undesignated parking areas will be
<br />ticketed and/or towed.
<br />3. Strolling through the park with your pets is great
<br />exercise. Make sure to clean up after your pets and keep
<br />them on a leash at all times.
<br />4. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited, except by city
<br />permit.
<br />5. Glass containers are easily broken and are a safety
<br />hazard to park users. Please use metal or plastic
<br />containers.
<br />6. Golfing is not allowed on any city park.
<br />7. Please respect the wildlife in our parks. Do not harm,
<br />chase, or feed them.
<br />8. Tennis courts are for tennis play only. Skateboarding,
<br />roller skating and hockey play on tennis courts is
<br />prohibited.
<br />9. Reservations and permits are required for exclusive use
<br />of any athletic field, picnic shelter, and park building.

<br />Tobacco-Free Policy
<br />The City of Mounds View prohibits the use of any tobacco
<br />product on all city-owned park land, park facilities, and
<br />open spaces, including picnic grounds, walking/biking
<br />paths, and restroom areas except in designated smoking
<br />areas at the community center or in the confines of a vehicle
<br />in a designated parking space or adjacent to a public street.
