<br />8. New Business (Continued) <br />b) Recycling Containers in Park Buildings – The recycling budget allows for placement of recycling <br />containers within the park buildings. Staff will choose style of containers and park maintenance will <br />pick up recycling on a regular basis. <br /> <br />c) Hillview Parking Lot – There is a proposal to reconstruct Hillview Road as part of the City’s next Street <br />and Utility Improvement Project. With this project, there would be the potential to add parking along <br />Hillview Road for Hillview Park. A draft plan sheet is in the packet. The cost of this parking area is <br />estimated to be $28,150 and could be funded through state aid. Commission is supportive based upon <br />neighborhood support and state aid funding. <br />nd <br />Motion by Kunza 2 Kunz by to recommend construction of parking lot at Hillview Park based <br />upon neighborhood support and state funding. Motion Passed 6-0 <br /> <br />9. Commissioner/Staff Reports: <br />a) Random Park Building Status: Will be available for use at the end of this month. Parking lot is done. <br /> <br />b) Groveland Park Building Status Report <br />The schedule is to have the building completed on or before December 18th, and the landscaping <br />would be finished up in the spring. Will not affect ice rink preparation. <br /> <br />c) Shari Kunza has decided not to extend her term on Parks and Recreation and Forestry Commission. <br /> <br />d) Invite interested parties to fill out an application for vacant seat on the commission <br /> <br />e) Any Other Reports?
