Approval of minutes from the June 19, 2008 meeting.

3. Unfinished Business:

Greenfield Park– We should discuss the information that our Surface Water personnel have received from the Water Shed District.

Nick Fleischhacker, our cities surface water expert met with the Rice Creek Water Shed last week and they plan to perform maintenance work on branch ditch # 5 and it’s tributaries in
2009. If their budget does not allow for this work in 2009 it will be done in 2010.

Staff recommends that we continue with our maintenance type repairs and wait and see what the district accomplishes. We will be doing minor repairs to the trail surface and trimming
around the plantings. (seedlings and established trees).

Direct staff to pull a price quote to repair the existing east bridge.

The repairs or facelift have been completed and the total expenditure was $300.00, we were able to utilize some existing materials thus saving approximately $150.00

6. New Business:
Lambert building replacement fast tracked per city tour discussion.

City Hall Playground Equipment Replacement Project This has been budgeted for in 2008 ($38,000)
The playground components have been installed as of today.
