c.The parking lane shall also serve as a pedestrian/bicycle <br />corridor. <br />d.“Chokers” shall be used at appropriate locations to provide <br />traffic calming. The size and location of the “chokers” are <br />yet to be determined. <br />4.Hillview Road from Long Lake Road to Red Oak Drive as <br />reconstructed under the 2009–2010 Street and Utility Improvement <br />Project shall include the following: <br />a.Width shall be 40-feet from face of curb to face of curb. <br />b.Parking lanes shall be provided along both sides of the road. <br />c.The parking lanes shall also serve as a pedestrian/bicycle <br />corridor. <br />d.No change is made from the current condition in regard to <br />locations where parking is allowed and prohibited. <br />5.Angled parking shall be provided along the north side of Hillview <br />Road as reconstructed under the 2009–2010 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project from Long Lake Road to Greenwood Drive. <br />a.The angled parking will replace the parking lane in this <br />location. <br />b.The maximum number of stalls shall be constructed. <br />Anticipated amount is 27. <br />c.An off-street concrete sidewalk shall be constructed at this <br />location to provide the pedestrian/bicycle corridor. <br />d.This improvement shall be financed from the Park <br />Dedication Fund. <br />6.A “bump out” lane for parallel parking shall be constructed along <br />the east side of Greenwood Drive as reconstructed under the <br />2009–2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project along the <br />frontage of Hillview Park. This improvement shall be financed from <br />the Park Dedication Fund. <br />7.The access to County Road 10 at Hillview Road / Fairchild Avenue <br />shall be removed as part of the 2009–2010 Street and Utility <br />Improvement Project. Fairchild Avenue and Hillview Road shall be <br />connected to form a continuous route between Sherwood Road and <br />Red Oak Drive.
