MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />LELS 204 — PATROL AND INVESTIGATORS <br />HOLIDAY PAY ARTICLE 24 <br />This memorandum of understanding is made between the City of Mounds View ("City") and the <br />Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc., Local #204 ("Union"). <br />WHEREAS, the City and Union are parties to a 2023-2025 collective bargaining agreement; and <br />WHEREAS, effective June 10, 2024, the Mounds View City Council officially recognized Election <br />Day as a paid Holiday for all eligible employees during an Election Year. General elections are <br />held on the Tuesday after the first Monday in November in even -numbered years. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the parties agree Article 24.1 will read as follows: <br />24.1 All employees shall receive the following holidays: New Year's Day, Martin Luther <br />King Day, President's Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence <br />Day, Labor Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas <br />Eve, Christmas Day and New Year's Eve. On even -numbered years, all employees <br />shall receive an additional holiday for the General Election held on the Tuesday after <br />the first Monday in November.
