The Truth-in-taxation meeting was held on <br /> December 4, 2023 and the public was provided an opportunity to comment. The City Council has <br /> proposed a final overall levy increase (including both the City levy and EDA levy) of 6.25%. <br /> The City Council may adopt the tax levy on December 11'h meeting or schedule an additional meeting if <br /> necessary to adopt it no later than December 27, 2023. <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council adopt the attached resolution adopting the 2024 property tax <br /> levy. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> Gayle Bauman <br /> Finance Director <br />
