ORDINANCE NO. 1015 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING TITLE XV LAND USAGE, CHAPTER 150.050 <br />BUILDING REGULATIONS; CONSTRUCTION; PERMIT REQUIREMENTS <br />THE CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW ORDAINS: <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Mounds View hereby amends Title XV, <br />Section 150.050 Permit Requirement, of the Mounds View Municipal Code by adding the <br />underlined_ material and deleting the sken material as follows: <br />§ 150.05 PERMIT REQUIREMENTS. <br />(3) Electrical Work <br />.. .. <br />• _ u _ • .. _ . . _ r _ .... r <br />NO <br />r <br />Before commencing installation of electrical work regulated by this <br />section, a permit shall be obtained from the City's Building Official <br />and the fee for such permit paid as set forth in the City's Fee <br />Schedule. <br />(b) An electrical inspector designated by the city shall be a licensed <br />master or journeyman electrician as defined under Minnesota <br />Statutes, and shall be responsible for enforcing the provisions of the <br />National Electrical Code as directed by the City's Building Official. <br />(c) The state''s City's designated electrical inspector, shall1 if applicable, <br />inspect and approve all electrical work before city approval of the final <br />building inspection and before the city issues a certificate of occupancy. <br />(d) No permit shall be required for electrical installations of equipment <br />owned, leased, operated or maintained by a public service <br />corporation which is used by said corporation in the performance of <br />its function as a utility, except that such electrical installation shall <br />conform to the minimum standards of the National Electrical Safety <br />Code. <br />
