RESOLUTION NO. 9983 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE FORD POLICE F-150 RESPONDER TRUCK <br /> ALONG WITH ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT AND SET UP COSTS <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement <br /> schedule of police vehicles to ensure that the police department can provide reliable <br /> quality service to the community with a dependable fleet of police vehicles, and; <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for the <br /> replacement of one police Community Service Officer (CSO) vehicle in 2025; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is in immediate need to <br /> replace one marked Community Service Officer (CSO) vehicle; and <br /> WHEREAS, Tenvoorde Ford has the state bid for a Ford Police F-150 Responder <br /> Truck available at $46,483.16 with set up cost and additional equipment at approximately <br /> $27,667.01. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the purchase of one 2025 Ford <br /> Police F-150 Responder Truck at an approximate cost of $46,483.16 plus additional <br /> equipment and setup costs of approximately $27,667.01 for a total expense of <br /> $74,150.17 in the 2025 budget funded from Account 460-4200-7040.
