NRO continuing to work on the apartment coalition program along with New <br /> Brighton Public Safety and Roseville PD <br /> 4. Officer Ohlendorf attended Drug Recognition Evaluator Course with the practical <br /> application portion of the course held in Philadelphia, PA. <br /> 9. Sgt. Schultes attended Firearms Instructors Course <br /> 10.Sgt. Dison attended the MCPA Leadership Academy in New Brighton <br /> 11.Several MVPD officers attended Field Training Officers (FTO) course <br /> 12.Participated in an outreach basketball game through the (Ball 4 Life organization <br /> Goal D: Expand on New Americans Academy and Pre-Party for Night to Unite, as well <br /> as ID & creating regular meetings with Neighborhood Captains program <br /> 1. Participated in the Night to Unite events and collected donated supplies for <br /> Ralph Reeder Food Shelf in Mounds View <br /> 2. Plans are being made for the Justin Morneau Coat Drive, the Pink Patch Project, <br /> Trick or Treat events, Faith and Blue events, and the Heroes and Helpers <br /> campaign <br /> Goal E: Speeding: Address the speeding issue by potentially closing some streets, <br /> adding speed bumps, and communicating to the public the PD is stepping up its speed <br /> enforcement, advertise the actual fines in the Newsletter, and come up with a catchy <br /> slogan similar to "Click it or Ticket" only for speeding. "Obey the sign or Pay the Fine." <br /> 1. Continued speed and traffic enforcement efforts on social media and other <br /> platforms <br /> 2. Received 2 new solar speed signs that will be deployed throughout the city when <br /> feasible <br />
