INVESTIGATOR ERICKSON 2024 QUARTER 3 INVESTIGATIVE HIGHLIGHTS <br /> In the 2024 3rd quarter, 32 cases were investigated by Investigator Erickson. Of those <br /> cases, 22 cases were charged out by arrest. 10 cases are still under investigation and <br /> 3 cases are under review for charges. Among the cases: <br /> • 2 Violation of Order for Protections <br /> • 2 Motor Vehicle Theft Investigation <br /> • 3 Traffic Related Arrests <br /> • 8 DWI Related Arrests <br /> • 2 Robbery <br /> • 2 Domestic Assault Investigations <br /> • 2 Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigations <br /> • 1 Burglary Case <br /> • 1 Criminal Damage to Property <br /> • 2 Assault Case <br /> • 1 Weapons involved case <br /> • 1 Child Abuse Investigation <br /> • 1 Child Pornography/Internet Crime Investigation <br /> Weapons Case Investigation <br /> On July 1st 2024, Investigator Erickson investigated a case where police were <br /> dispatched to the 2500 block of Mounds View Blvd on a report of a male in public with a <br /> rifle. Officers located the male inside a local business store. The male had a rifle slung <br /> around his shoulder and a handgun on his right hip in a holster. Further investigations <br /> showed that the defendant was issued an order for protection, rendering the defendant <br /> ineligible to possess firearms. The defendant was placed under arrest and the <br /> defendant was charged with possessing a firearm while subject to an order for <br /> protection. Investigator Erickson further discussed the case with the FBI to charge the <br /> defendant federally. <br /> Robbery <br /> On July 17th, 2024 at 2:07 pm, Officers were dispatched to a robbery on the 2500 block <br /> of Mounds View Blvd. A customer was strong arm robbed of her purse outside a local <br /> business. The male fled on foot. Upon investigation with the victim, she was able to <br /> give a description of the suspect and a direction that he ran. Officers and Investigator <br /> Erickson checked the area and located a male matching the description, however the <br /> male was wearing different clothes and was not in possession of the purse, but did <br /> have a large amount of cash. <br />
