RESOLUTION 9996 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ACCEPTING BIDS AND AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ACM LLC FOR THE SILVER VIEW <br />PARK POND PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City has the responsibility to efficiently operate the storm water <br />system; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council additionally approved Resolution 9544 to have Stantec <br />Engineering Services complete an overall Storm Water Pond assessment with a final report <br />providing a list of ponds, features, and maintenance needs, including a Capital Improvement Plan <br />(CIP); and <br />WHEREAS, City Council approved Resolution 9783 and 9784 authorizing Stantec to <br />complete the assessments on the Silver View Park Storm Water Pond. Neighborhood meetings <br />were held to receive feedback on concerns of the draft plans; and <br />WHEREAS, The City Council further approved Resolution 9989 on September 23, 2024, <br />approving the plans, specifications and Authorized bidding for the Silver View Park storm water <br />pond project and upland vegetation management project; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has completed the plans and specifications for the Silver View Park <br />Storm Water Pond and Upland Vegetation Management Projects, Stantec placed the plans and <br />Specification on Quest CDN for public bidding. The City received seven (7) bids for the project and <br />a public bid opening was held on October 161h, 2024, at 9:45 a.m.; and <br />WHEREAS, below are the bids received and accepted; and <br />Company <br />Toal Base Bid <br />ACM LLC <br />$549,217.50 <br />Rachel Contracting LLC <br />$696,829.00 <br />Kurilla Contracting <br />$746,014.00 <br />Peterson Companies <br />$768,823.71 <br />New Look C-ontracting <br />$773,060.00 <br />Urban Companies <br />$828,030.00 <br />Fitzgerald Excavating <br />1,076,865.00 <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has reviewed the bids and found these to be in order and is <br />recommending the City Council approve the bid and award the contract to ACM LLC; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has provided a proposal for technical services not to exceed <br />$26,700.00 and will be utilized on a limited basis with City Staff performing the day-to-day project <br />oversight; and <br />
