RESOLUTION NO. 10030 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING SEPARATION COMPENSATION FOR <br />POLICE OFFICER ISABEL TORRES <br />WHEREAS, Police Officer Isabel Torres has resigned from the City of Mounds View <br />effective December 4, 2024; and <br />WHEREAS, in accordance with Article 23 of the Labor Agreement between the City of <br />Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc. (LELS) Local No. 204, Officer <br />Torres will receive a cash payout of accrued and unused vacation hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Torres' balance of accrued and unused vacation is estimated at 83.16 <br />hours and compensation balance is 10.50 hours; and <br />WHEREAS, Officer Torres' balance of accrued and unused sick leave is waived, as she <br />was not employed for two years, which is required by policy in order to receive sick leave <br />payment; and <br />WHEREAS, the rate of pay for Officer Torres upon resignation was $35.70 per hour. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council approves <br />the separation compensation to Police Officer Torres consistent with the Labor Agreement <br />between the City of Mounds View and the Law Enforcement Labor Services, Inc.
