RESOLUTION NO. 10026 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION TO THERESA MARIE CERMAK <br />FOR HER SERVICE ON THE MOUNDS VIEW CITY COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, Theresa Marie Cermak has served on the City Council as Council Member <br />since 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, she has served on the City Council with heartfelt interest and dedication; and <br />WHEREAS; she has served as liaison to the Anoka County Fire Protection Council and <br />the Mounds View Police Foundation; and <br />WHEREAS; she is a steadfast supporter of the Mounds View Police Department and the <br />Spring Lake Park - Blaine - Mounds View Fire Department; and <br />WHEREAS; she was a past member and penultimate supporter of the Mounds View <br />Police Foundation; and <br />WHEREAS, she has volunteered her time as a member and Chair of the Festival in the <br />Park of Mounds View Committee for 26 years; and <br />WHEREAS; she is an unapologetic passionate supporter of our most vulnerable members <br />of society, especially those less fortunate and particularly victims of domestic abuse; and <br />WHEREAS; she cares deeply for our school age children, unwavering in her efforts to <br />engage them and to encourage active citizenship; and <br />WHEREAS; she always chooses silence over criticism and patience over intolerance; and <br />WHEREAS; she has the ability to place the needs of others before ber own; and <br />WHEREAS; she has a diougbtful caring nature and the wisdom to make decisions for the <br />community; and <br />WHEREAS; she ensures the present and future of the City of Mounds View is well <br />planned, which has made her an excellent representative for the people of Mounds View; and <br />WHEREAS, her infectious smile and dry wit will be dearly missed; and <br />WHEREAS; though we will miss seeing Theresa in the capacity of Council Member, we <br />are confident that she will continue to be a shining star within the community of Mounds View. <br />
