<br /> as appropriate. The education program may be conducted by the owner or by the
<br /> recyclables hauler.
<br /> 10.4 Reserved for standards relating to separation and collection of yard waste at
<br /> commercial properties.
<br /> 10.5 Reserved for standards relating to separation and collection of organic waste at
<br /> commercial properties.
<br /> 11 Hauler Licensing and Requirements
<br /> 11.1 Haulers collecting garbage, recyclables, bulky wastes, electronics, yard waste or non-
<br /> recyclables or any combination thereof from residential areas, commercial
<br /> establishments, multiple dwellings and/or manufactured home parks must be licensed
<br /> by the City. Including haulers that use a roll-off type vehicle to haul solid waste or any
<br /> combination thereof that includes solid waste.
<br /> 11.2 Conditions of License: Each license shall be applied for and may be issued, renewed,
<br /> suspended or revoked under authority of Chapter 50 of the City Code,and each licensee
<br /> shall comply with all applicable requirements of Chapter 603 and of these Standards.
<br /> 11.3 Before a license is issued, the applicant shall provide the City with a detailed schedule
<br /> of all proposed maximum pricing, rates, fees, taxes, or charges to be charged during
<br /> the licensed period for which the application is made. The actual maximum rates
<br /> charged by haulers must conform to the schedule of maximum pricing, rates, fees,
<br /> taxes, or charges provided on the license application. Any increase in maximum rates
<br /> during the licensed period shall be submitted to the City Council in writing, at least 90
<br /> days prior to the proposed implementation date for any rate increase. Any submission
<br /> regarding maximum pricing, rates, fees, taxes, or charges shall include all information
<br /> necessary to support the proposed maximum pricing, rates, fees, taxes, or charges, as
<br /> well as any other information requested by the City, including details about the basis
<br /> for the maximum pricing, rates, fees, taxes, or charges and comparative pricing, rates,
<br /> fees, taxes, or charges in surrounding communities.
<br /> 11.4 Before a license is issued,the applicant shall file with the City Administrator evidence
<br /> that the applicant has in effect public liability insurance for the hauler's business and
<br /> for all vehicles as follows:
<br /> A. Solid Waste Vehicles
<br /> (1) General liability in the following amounts:
<br /> (a) Property damage or combined single limit, $500,000
<br /> (b) Bodily injury in the following amounts:
<br /> i) Per person, $1,000,000
<br /> ii) Per occurrence, $5,000,000
