RESOLUTION NO. 10015 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> ADOPTING THE 2025 PROPERTY TAX LEVY <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has conducted numerous meetings and has made available the proposed <br /> 2025 Budget; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council provided the public an opportunity to speak at the Truth in Taxation meeting <br /> on December 2, 2024 and at the several budget meetings to take comment on the proposed 2025 tax <br /> levy; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has proposed a final overall levy increase (including both the City levy and <br /> EDA levy) of 8.53%. <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Mounds View that the following <br /> property tax levy for 2025 is hereby approved: <br /> CERTIFIED LEVY <br /> FUND AMOUNT <br /> General Fund base levy $ 5,279,172 <br /> Fire debt service levy (Gen'I Fund) 89,640 <br /> Police MV Ref levy 2017 (Gen'I Fund) 140,000 <br /> Police MV Ref levy 2004 (Gen'I Fund) 280,000 <br /> Community Center Fund 450,000 <br /> Vehicle & Equipment Fund 280,000 <br /> Special Projects Fund 75,000 <br /> Street Improvement capital levy 300,000 <br /> 2017A GO Bonds levy 418,288 <br /> TOTAL PROPERTY TAX LEVY $ 7,312,100 <br /> and the City Administrator is hereby directed to notify Ramsey County and the State of Minnesota of said <br /> 2025 property tax levy. <br /> Said resolution was declared to have been duly passed and adopted this 9t" day of December 2024. <br /> Zach Lindstrom, Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Nyle Zikmund, City Administrator <br /> (SEAL) <br />
