RESOLUTION NO. 10039 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING OUT OF STATE TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR ALEXIS BOSTROM AND <br />HANNA KENOW TO ATTEND THE CENTRAL SQUARE CONFERENCE IN <br />ORLANDO, FLORIDA. <br />WHEREAS, the Central Square Conference is being held in Orlando, Florida <br />from April 27-30 2025, and; <br />WHEREAS, staff has reviewed employee feedback and staff has requested out <br />of state training, and; <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department is continuing to promote <br />training, networking, and professional development within the agency, and; <br />WHEREAS, benefits of the conference include the unique opportunity to network <br />with other law enforcement administrative professionals who share similar experiences <br />and who utilize the Central Square platform, and; <br />WHEREAS, the conference offers 3 full days of training opportunities, including <br />expert -led breakout sessions and user -oriented presentations, as well as information <br />about Central Square's product roadmap, and; <br />WHEREAS, the cost for both administrative staff employees discounted <br />registration for the conference, the hotel accommodations, and the airfare costs <br />approximately $3,773.55. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota to authorize the out of state travel expenses <br />for Alexis Bostrom and Hanna Kenow to attend the Central Square Conference in <br />Orlando, Florida with an approximate cost of $3,773.55 from Account 480-4200-3630 <br />(2023 Public Safety Aid money). <br />Adopted this 13th day of January 2025. <br />a ' Lj)pAfrom, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />A,� <br />Nyle ikmu , City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
