MOUNDS VIEW <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />Item No: 55. <br />Meeting Date: January 13, 2025 <br />Type of Business: Council Consent <br />Administrator Review: <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Gayle Bauman, Finance Director <br />Item Title/Subject: Resolution 10034 Accepting Miscellaneous Donations for <br />2024 <br />Introduction: <br />Pursuant to MN Statute § 465.03, the City is required to accept donations by resolution. <br />The attached resolution provides for this acceptance for several miscellaneous donations <br />that were received in 2024. <br />Discussion: <br />Total miscellaneous donations received by the City in 2024 were $12,355, $10,620 was <br />from Twin Cities Gateway Convention Bureau, $750 was for scholarship support for <br />Community Center programs, $525 was designated Police Department outreach <br />events, (shop with a cop, safety camp, etc.) and $460 was designated for supporting K9 <br />activities by the various donors. <br />Recommendation: <br />Attached for your consideration is Resolution 10034, a resolution which accepts the <br />miscellaneous donations received in 2024. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Gayle Bauman <br />Finance Director <br />
