Mounds View City Council January 13, 2025 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br />2 9. REPORTS <br />3 A. Reports of Mayor and Council. <br />4 <br />5 Council Member Gunn stated she would be attending Police Foundation and Tribute Park meetings <br />6 tomorrow. In addition, she would be attending a Planning Commission meeting on Wednesday, <br />7 January 15 and a Cable Commission meeting on Thursday, January 16. <br />8 <br />9 Council Member Meehlhause reported he would be attending an NYFS Finance Committee <br />10 meeting on Wednesday, January 15. He noted he would also be attending the Planning <br />1 1 Commission meeting on Wednesday. <br />12 <br />13 Council Member Meehlhause was pleased to report the Twin Cities Gateway Visitors Bureau now <br />14 had 11 member cities with the addition of the City of Ramsey. <br />15 <br />16 Council Member Clark reported the Festival in the Park Committee would meet next on Tuesday, <br />17 January 21 at the Public Works Facility at 6:30 p.m. <br />18 <br />19 Council Member Smith stated in December she went to the RCLLG Annual Dinner, which was <br />20 the Ramsey County League of Local Government. She discussed the mission of this group and <br />21 summarized the topics that were addressed by the guest speaker. <br />22 <br />23 Council Member Smith noted she would be attending a Cable Commission meeting on Thursday, <br />24 January 16. <br />25 <br />26 Mayor Lindstrom thanked all of the residents that attending the community dinner in December, <br />27 as well as the volunteers who made the event possible. <br />28 <br />29 Mayor Lindstrom discussed the work he has been doing with the Clemency Hearing Board. <br />30 <br />31 Mayor Lindstrom reported the mermaid has been picked up and driven to New Ulm in order to <br />32 undergo restoration work. <br />33 <br />34 Mayor Lindstrom explained he had the opportunity to participate in several national level <br />35 clemency calls. <br />36 <br />37 Mayor Lindstrom stated he attended a Regional Council of Mayors where the group heard from <br />38 Greater MSP and discussed what the next 25 years will look like. <br />39 <br />40 Mayor Lindstrom noted he would be meeting with Representative Moller on Thursday. <br />41 <br />42 Mayor Lindstrom indicated he would be sharing his life story in the Stillwater prison on Thursday, <br />43 which would be the first time he has done this. <br />44 <br />45 Mayor Lindstrom reported on January 22 he would be celebrating seven years of sobriety. <br />46 <br />
