RESOLUTION NO. 10058 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />REVIEW THE 66% COMPLETED PLANS FOR THE 2025 STREET PROJECT <br />AND AUTHORIZING STANTEC TO COMPLETE THE DESIGN, AND PREPARE PLANS <br />AND SPECIFICATIONS <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is considering the 2025 Street Project to <br />include the following: <br />• Bronson Drive from Long Lake Road to Edgewood Drive <br />• Bronson Drive from Edgewood Drive to Quincy Street <br />• Edgewood Drive and Pinewood Circle cul-de-sacs <br />• Construction of a parking lot in the City Hall campus near the Splash Down <br />amenity; and <br />WHEREAS, maintenance over the years has included seal coating, pothole patching <br />and skim coating as needed. The current pavement is in poor condition with significant <br />surface patching, potholes, and moderate to high severity traverse cracking and pavement <br />heaving; and <br />WHEREAS, City Council reviewed the concept designs at the October 28, 2024, <br />Work Session, and directed Staff to pursue the necessary plans for the proposed street <br />project; and <br />WHEREAS, Stantec has provided 66% plans for Council Review; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends the City Council adopt the Resolution reviewing the <br />66% plans an provide Staff with feedback including authorizing Stantec to complete the final <br />design plans, specifications and bidding documents for the 2025 Street Improvement Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />The City hereby approves Stantec Consulting Services of Minneapolis MN, to <br />complete the street design, plans, specifications and biding documents for the <br />2025 Street Rehabilitation Project. <br />2. Funding will be from the Street Improvement Fund, 485-4470-7050. <br />3.
