NE <br />FRIDLEY, MN 55432-4927 <br />RE: Inspection of 2075 HILLVIEW ROAD <br />To whom it may concern, <br />The property located at 2075 HILLVIEW ROAD was recently inspected for compliance with the City of <br />Mounds View Housing Maintenance Code, preparatory to renewal of the Multiple Dwelling License. The <br />following items present require corrective actions. <br />Garages <br />Housing - Fire Safety— (MSFC 304.1) Combustible Material. Combustible material creating a fire <br />hazard shall not be allowed to accumulate in buildings or structures or upon premises. Garages <br />1, 2, and 3 have cluttered combustible storage. Remove all items not in use for the <br />maintenance of the property. All items used in the maintenance of the property must be <br />stored in an orderly fashion in a single garage unit. <br />Laundry Room <br />Housing - Mechanical - Dryer Vent Repair or replace dryer vent. Exhaust ducts for domestic <br />dryers shall be constructed of metal and shall have a smooth interior finish. The exhaust duct <br />size shall be 4 inches nominal in diameter. Ducts shall not be joined with screws or similar <br />fasteners that protrude into the inside of the duct. (IMC 504.6) Remove all screws from <br />existing dryer ducting and replace with foil HVAC tape. Ensure all sections of ducting are <br />properly connected including at the back of the dryer. <br />Unit #4 <br />This unit recently had a fire. The corrections below are in addition to the fire correction orders. <br />Housing - Structural — Doors. Repair and/or replace damaged door(s). (IPMC: 305.3) Repair the <br />front door frame at the strike plate, and replace all damaged trim on the interior side of door. <br />Housing - Structural — Floors, walls, and ceilings. Repair and/or replace damaged flooring, walls <br />and/or Ceilings. (IPMC: 305.3) Replace multiple damaged floor tiles at the front entry. <br />Housing - Structural — Floors, walls, and ceilings. Repair and/or replace damaged flooring, walls <br />and/or Ceilings.
