However, often times there is a need to amend the fee schedule more than just <br />once a year. <br />Discussion: <br />Over the past few months, the City of Mounds View has received a significant increase <br />in inquries and requests for mobile food units (MFU)/food trucks in the City. As the City <br />Code and Fee Schedule does not specifically address MFU's, as well as ice cream <br />trucks, Staff sees the need to amend the fee schedule at this time to address the <br />upcoming summer season. The City currently uses the fee schedule for transient <br />merchants/peddlers for MFU's but these fees are not comparible. <br />Staff recommends adding the following fees to the 2021 City of Mounds View Fee <br />Schedule: <br />Mobile Food Unit (MFU) 25 per day <br />100 per ten (10) days <br />200 per thirty (30) days <br />400 per year <br />Ice Cream Truck/Street Vending 20 per day <br />100 per year <br />Staff is also in the process of amending the City Code to include MFU's and ice <br />cream/street vending.
