tom+ -�-.t, • RESOLUTION NO. 1141 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW � COUNTY OF RAMSEY D PUT STATE OF MINNESOTA � a REQUEST TO REVIEWING GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIESE� O�g8O REGARDING PROPOSED LAKE BY M & E REALITY REGION VI COMPANY AND KRAUS-ANDERSON, INCORPORATED. WATE WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Mounds View is considering the execution of a land dev- elopment agreement with M & E Reality Company and Kraus -Anderson Incorporated; WHEREAS, the land development agreement para- graph 7 and 7A include quantity amounts and a grade plan for the proposed lake; WHEREAS, the Park and Rec Commission of the City of Mounds View on 10-25-79 passed a motion which approved the lake which would solve storm water run- off created by development; WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Mounds View on 3-19-80 passed a motion requiring a lake which would satisfy the Cit_y's Resolution 983 which regulates storm water runoff caused by devel- opment; WHEREAS, the Park and Rec Commission on 3-27--80 passed the following motion - Commissioner Linke made a motion that, because we, as a Park Commission, have a deep desire to provide the citizens of. Mounds View with both varied and the best recreational facilities possible, we are now formally adopting the position that "Oak Lake" be made a recreational lake in view of the non -recreational pond or swamp as siiggested by the developer. Commissioner Scott seconded the motion. Motion passed. 9 Ayes 0 Nays WHEREAS, the Council. of the City of Mounds View passed Resolution 1100 (a copy attached) in which paragraph 2 requires a mirrored lake effect; NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Park and Rec Commission, Planning Commission and the Council of the City of Mounds View have determined that there is a Community need,benefit and desire for the proposed lake by M & E Reality Company and Kraus -Anderson, Inc.
