Item No. 2 <br />Meeting Date: September 6, 2005 <br />Type of Business: WK <br />WK: Work Session; PH: Public Hearin <br />CA: Consent Agenda; CB: Council B , s <br />City Administrator Review <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Greg Lee, Director of Public Works <br />Item Title/Subject: County Road 10 Corridor Improvement Program <br />Update <br />Background: <br />On July 5, 2005 a project update report for the County Road 10 Corridor <br />Improvement Program was submitted to the City Council. Attached is a copy of <br />this report. <br />Discussion: <br />Two representatives of the City engineering consulting firm Bonestroo, Rosene, <br />Anderlik, and Associates will be providing a presentation to the City Council at <br />this Work Session. <br />Kevin Hoglund, Project Engineer, will discuss funding issues and grant <br />opportunities as they relate to signalized intersections and trailways. Attached is <br />a copy of the project funding summary. <br />Stuart Krahn, Registered Landscape Architect, will discuss activities conducted <br />by the Theme Committee and design and theme elements and concepts <br />proposed for this corridor. Attached is a copy of theme development materials. <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff is looking for direction on this matter. Specifically, Staff is looking for <br />Council input on whether this is the direction the City Council is interested going <br />forward with the County Road 10 Corridor Improvement Program. <br />Respectfully Submitted, <br />Greg Lee, Director of Public Works <br />
