She reported the Council has met with five different <br />speakers to explore the topic of diversity. She indicated there was much more to come regarding <br />this topic and she understood there were improvements that could be made. She thanked Ms. <br />Monn for sharing her experiences and concerns with the Council. <br />7. SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />None. <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Public Hearing: First Reading and Introduction of Ordinance 976, an <br />Ordinance Adopting the Recodification of the Mounds View Municipal Code <br />and Updating the City of Mounds View's 2021 Fee Schedule. <br />Assistant City Administrator Beeman requested the Council introduce an Ordinance that would <br />recodify the Mounds View Municipal Code while also updating the City's 2021 fee schedule. He <br />reviewed the proposed changes in detail with the Council and recommended introduction of the <br />Ordinance. <br />Mayor Mueller opened the public hearing at 7:06 p.m. <br />Hearing no public input, Mayor Mueller closed the public hearing at 7:07 p.m. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Bergeron. To Waive the First Reading and Introduce Ordinance 976, <br />an Ordinance Adopting the Recodification of the Mounds View Municipal Code and Updating the <br />City of Mounds View's 2021 Fee Schedule. <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked staff for moving the fees to the fee schedule versus having <br />this information within the Ordinance.
