Mounds View City Council February 12, 1990 <br />Regular Meeting Page Two <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />• The Council agreed to do so, but also agreed that any <br />further such requests would have to be looked at from <br />a policy standpoint. <br />Clerk/Administrator Pauley asked that Peterson <br />Brothers Sanitation be added under Item V of the <br />consent agenda. <br />Mayor Hankner asked that Item O be removed for <br />discussion. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Quick to approve the consent <br />agenda, minus Item O, and waive the reading of the <br />resolutions. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mayor Hankner questioned if everything had been com- <br />pleted under Item O, before payment is made to the <br />State. <br />Public Works Director Minetor stated the last time <br />he had spoken to the project engineer, 99% was com- <br />pleted. They will be working on the timing of the <br />• lights this spring, and are currently doing traffic <br />counts. He also explained the agreement the City <br />had entered into with the State does call for pay- <br />ment at this time. <br />Motion/Second: Paone/Blanchard to approve payment <br />of $41,829.26 to the State of Minnesota as an <br />advance on the T.H. 10 signal upgrade project to <br />be charged to Account No. 499-4121-705. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />Mr. Minetor explained the State required the City to <br />draft a storm water management plan and submit it to <br />Rice Creek Watershed District for approval. The <br />City contracted with Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, to <br />do the plan. <br />Mark Obermeier, of Short, Elliott, Hendrickson, pre- <br />sented copies of Volumn 1, the policy document, to <br />the Council, as well as the complete document con- <br />taining volumes 2 and 3, the users manual and <br />reference documents. <br />Mr. Obermeier explained the necessity of the plan <br />7.
