t, . <br />' Mounds View City Council September 24, 1990 <br />.: Regular Meeting Page Seven <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Mayor Hankner noted the librar had been dedicated <br />Y <br />last Saturday evening. <br />Mayor Hankner expressed concern about the surface. water <br />utility, surface water. rnanagementhas been mandated by <br />the Legislature. It is necessary to allow people to <br />become familiar with the Plan. <br />Mayor Hankner reported she had received a letter <br />from the Mayor of Blaine advising they are review- <br />ing and revising their comp plan over the next <br />12-18 months, and inviting Mounds View to submit <br />theirs. Mayor Hankner stated they need to observe <br />closely what Blaine does, especially in the areas <br />adjoining Mounds View. <br />Mr. Exits asked the status of the van which the <br />Lions Club had offered to fund. <br />Park and Rec Director Saarion reported she had <br />recently heard from the State and they have <br />confirmed they have ordered the van and it should <br />be here in early 1991. <br />.Mayor Hankner noted the Council will begin the <br />budgeting process next week and will be working <br />over the next two months to refine it.
