Mounds View City Council Page Two <br />�egular Meeting June 28, 1993 <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br />Mayor Linke, on behalf of the City Council, presented an Outstanding Service <br />Award to Councilmember Rickaby for her dedicated service to the people of <br />Mounds View as a member of the City Council from January 7, 1991 through <br />June 30, 1993. Mayor Linke wished Councilmember Rickaby well in her future <br />endeavors. <br />�RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR <br />There were no residents requests or comments pertaining to issues not on the <br />agenda presented at this meeting. <br />PUBLIC HEARTNGS <br />Michele Severson, Administrative Secretary, reviewed Staff Report No. 93- <br />53bC regarding the Renewal of On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor, Off-Sale <br />Intoxicating Liquor and Wine On-Sale Licenses. Severson reported that staff <br />had asked the Ramsey County Health Department and the Fire Department to <br />conduct inspections on all establishments, including restaurants. All <br />establishments passed their inspections. The Ramsey County Property Tax <br />Department was contacted regarding the status of property taxes, the City's <br />�olice Department was asked if there were any incidents that would prevent <br />he establishments from having their licenses renewed and the City's Utility <br />Department was asked for the status on the utility accounts. Severson <br />reported that all property taxes were current, all utility billings were <br />current and there wer� no incidences that would prevent the renewal of the <br />licensing of the establishments. <br />Public Hearing * Bel-Rae Ballroom * On-Sale Wine <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing to consider the renewal of the on-sale <br />wine license for the Bel-Rae Ballroom, 5394 Edgewood Drive, at 7:08 p.m. <br />There was no public input on this item. Mayor Linke closed the public <br />hearing at 7:08 p.m. <br />MOTIONLSECOND: Quick/Blanchard to approve the renewal of the on-sale wine <br />license for the Bel-Rae Ballroom, 5394 Edgewood Drive. <br />VOTE• <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />Public Hearinq * Budaet Liquor * Off-Sale Intoxicatina Liauor <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing to consider the renewal of the off- <br />sale intoxicating liquor license for Budget Liquor, 2577 Highway 10, at 7:09 <br />p.m. There was no public input on this item. Mayor Linke closed the public <br />hearing at 7:09 p.m. <br />MOTION�SECOND: Wuori/Quick to approve the renewal of the off-sale <br />intoxicating liquor license for Budget Liquor, 2577 Highway 10. <br />•JOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
