Orduno further stated that letters had been sent to all residents who attended the budget hearings informing them that this information was available to them. Saarion also. explained that in each issue of the City Newsletter there is a page devoted to "Want Help from the City". This is where the residents of the community can provide feedback to the City regarding concerns that they might have. The information is given to the proper department. One of these concerns was given to the Parks, Recreation and Forestry Department which concerned the paving of Random Park parking and how troublesome it was for residents participating in recreation programs to get in and out of the lot with the six inch deep mud. Mary Saarion, Director of Parks, Recreation and Forestry, reviewed Staff Report No. 93-513C regarding a lease-purchase agreement for a double axle trailer at a cost of $4,032.09. Saarion explained that the Parks Department needs the trailer to haul the Skid Loader to projects when it has on tracks rather than wheels. Saarion further explained the trailer could be used for hauling mowers when they break down in • the field. Currently, Saarion reported, the City must rent a trailer to accomplish getting the mowers into the shop for repair. Saarion explained that an agreement had been reached with Carlson Tractor for a lease purchase agreement pending Council approval and partial payment of the trailer would consist of a trade of an attachment that was not used and bought for another mower. The rest of the dollars would be requested in the 1994 Capital budget program. Mayor Linke asked if the City would save money by paying the entire amount now. Saarion explained that no extra dollars were being charged for the rest of the dollars and that sales tax was included in the price.
