mounds View City Council January 28, 1991 <br />lar Meeting Page Three <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />Mr. Engberg stated that he had been working with <br />the City to try to resolve the problem. <br />Lonny Gee, 8462 Pleasantview Drive stated that <br />due to Mr. Engberg's all concrete driveway that <br />last spring when there was a heavy thaw Mr. <br />Engberg had a drainage problem and pumped water <br />into his backyard. <br />Mr. Engberg believes he has resolved that <br />problem by adding 40 feet of drainage tile. <br />Mayor Linke stated that it is his under- <br />standing that Mr. Engberg did not <br />obtain a building permit to construct <br />the accessory building that is in question. <br />Councilmember Rickaby stated that she <br />believes too much concrete is a problem. <br />She .would like to see square footage of <br />concrete kept to a minimum. <br />Mayor Linke closed the public hearing and <br />opened the regular meeting at 7:45 p.m. <br />Motion/Second: Wuori/Rickaby to approve <br />Resolution No. 4038 denying the variance <br />request by John Engberg, 3030 County Road <br />I. <br />5 ayes 0 nays <br />7. Public Hearing: <br />opened the next public hearing at 8:10 p.m. Consider Land <br />Division, 2601 and <br />2617 Sherwood Rd. <br />Wayne and Barb Depew <br />Planning Technician Harrington reviewed the <br />land division explaining that it was merely <br />a reconfiguration of lot lines to be able <br />to sell one lot. <br />Verna Lauterbach, 8193 Eastwood questioned <br />whether Greenwood would be extended. <br />Discussions followed regarding what is <br />necessary for Greenwood or any road <br />be extended in terms of a petition. <br />
