mounds View City Council Page Two <br />gular Meeting June 24, 1991 <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />There was no Special Order of Business. <br />RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: <br />There were no comments from the floor. <br />PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br />Mayor Linke opened the public hearing for the On-Sale Intoxicating Liquor <br />License Renewal for Robert's Off 10 at 7:05 p.m. <br />Mr. Bill Zwieg, 5292 Edgewood Drive, stated the following: <br />Robert's disposes of .glass bottles at approximately 1:30 a.m. <br />which creates a noise disturbance. <br />Stated .that the outdoor party recently held was unknown <br />to him until the bandstand was set up. The residents weren't <br />advised of this concert. How did Mr. Waste get a permit to <br />do this? <br />Mayor Linke responded that no permit is necessary for the outdoor concerts. <br />Mayor Linke also stated that Mr. Waste had notified the Council of the <br />event well ahead of time and that it was advertised on the radio and <br />newspapers. <br />Mr. Zwieg asked if there were any regulations regarding noise during the <br />day. <br />Mayor Linke stated that the City has a noise ordinance but it is rather <br />difficult to enforce during the day. <br />Councilmember Rickaby stopped by the concert and stated the music was <br />rather loud. Rickaby talked to the manager and advised him that there had <br />been some residential complaints. The manager assured Councilmember <br />Rickaby that when the next band came on stage he would have them turn down <br />the music. <br />Mr. Zwieg commented that it would be nice if the residents could talk to <br />Mr. Waste and come up with a suggestion for the stage so that it wouldn't <br />bother the neighbors as much. <br />~yor Linke stated he would keep that in mind when talking with Mr. Waste <br />out the next outdoor concert if there would be another. <br />
