mounds View City Council <br />tar MeetingMeeting <br />Page Two <br />March 11, 1991 <br />The Mayor noted that the services shown in the video are the very same <br />Mounds View services which could be dramatically affected by the Governor's <br />proposed cuts. <br />City Administrator Orduno encouraged the public to write to their <br />legislators regarding the proposed cuts. Approve Bid Award for the Softball Field Lighting <br />Parks, Recreation and Forestry Director Mary Saarion <br />stated that the bids were opened Friday, March 8, 1991 <br />at 11:00 a.m. There was $39,000 budgeted for this lighting <br />project. The low bid was received from Ridgedale Electric <br />Inc. for a price of $39,780. There were funds budgeted <br />for sprinkling of ballfields for which one has been <br />eliminated at City Hall and therefore leaves monies available <br />to do the work of the lighting and electrical work for west <br />ballfield. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to Approve Bid Award for <br />the Softball Field Lighting to Ridgedale <br />Electric, Inc. for a Price Not to Exceed <br />$46,769 <br />5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
