PROCEEDINGS OF THE CTI'Y COUNCIL <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />Regular Meeting <br />May 13, 1991 <br />Mounds View City Hall <br />2401 Hwy. 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br />CALL TO ORDER: <br />The Mounds View City Council was called to order by Mayor Linke at 7:00 <br />p.m. on Monday, May 13, 1991. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was said. <br />ROLL CALL <br />MEMBERS PRESENT: Councilmembers Wuori, Quick, Blanchard <br />and Mayor Linke. <br />• MEMBERS ABSENT: Councilmember Rickaby. <br />ALSO PRESENT: Clerk-Administrator Orduno, City Attorney Karney, <br />Public Works Director/City Engineer Minetor and <br />Planning Technician Harrington <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES: April 22, 1991 Regular Meeting <br />MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Quick to approve minutes of <br />April 22, 1991 Regular Meeting <br />4 ayes 0 Nays Motion Carried <br />SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br />- Presentation made. by students (5th Graders at Pinewood <br />Elementary School) of the DARE Program (Drug Abuse <br />Resistance Education) to the City Councilmembers and <br />Officer Robert Nelson of the Mounds View Police Department. <br />Each Councilmember was presented with a DARE bumper sticker and <br />Officer Nelson was presented with a red rose as appreciation for <br />his participation with the students in this program. Some <br />of the students read essays they had prepared stating how <br />they would keep themselves "drug free". <br />
