Mayor Linke explained that the City
can't afford to be short sited. The choice is to buy now or
buy later at an increased and inflated price.
Samantha Orduno informed the residents that the building was
being remodeled entirely by staff rather than building an addition as
was recommended by the Space Needs Study. A question was brought forth
regarding lay off of City staff and employees and in the past only part
time employees had been layed off. Orduno stated that the Building
Inspector had been cut from full time to half time.
MOTIONISECOND: Rickaby/Wuori to approve the purchase of an
HP IIID Laser Printer from Dodd Technical Corporation of
St. Paul at a Cost of $2,594 to be charged against account
#100-4190-703.
5 ayes
PORTS
Report of Councilmembers:
0 nays Motion Carried
Councilmember Wuori: Congratulated Sharie Linke and Jan Quick
for the Appreciation Reception.
