The Department encourages the preservation aad sound <br />management of wetland areas by local units of government when they are <br />not State Protected. - - <br />There is no provision in the statutes for adding wetlands even during "~--~ <br />the• ld-year map review period - provisions are there to delete <br />wetlands but not to add wetlands. The Legislature would have to -' <br />change the statute before a procedure for additions could be <br />' implemented...
