Minetor stated that according to the City's code, the
Council has the authority to issue wetland permits without a public hearing
if they so desire.
Minetor further stated that the Council had two options with regard to this
public hearing: 1) reschedule it for a date two weeks from tonight, or 2)
proceed with the hearing. Staff recommends rescheduling the hearing for two
weeks from tonight.
MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Blanchard to reschedule the public hearing
to consider Wetland Alteration Permits for Long Lake Road for
two weeks from tonight which would be March 23, 1992.
VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
ONSENT AGENDA
Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, read the items on the proposed Consent
Agenda.
Councilmember Quick asked that Item 7, replacement of unmarked police
vehicle, be removed from the Consent Agenda for clarification by the Glerk-
Administrator.
MOTIONf SECOND: Rickaby/Wuori to adopt the Consent Agenda
minus Item 7 regarding replacement of
unmarked police vehicle.
VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried
Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, was asked by Councilmember Quick to
clarify Item No. 7 taken from the Consent Agenda regarding replacement of
the unmarked police vehicle. Orduno explained that the reason this item was
removed was because a fund number had not been assigned to this expenditure.
The replacement vehicle should be coded to the Forefeiture Fund.
Councilmember Quick asked Orduno to explain where the funds in this account
come from. Orduno explained that these are funds raised from the sale of
items confiscated in raids or drug busts.
