Mounds View City Council Page Thirteen <br />~egular Meeting May 26, 1992 <br />Mayor Linke stated that he understood that Ulrich is trying to <br />save money, however, he doesn't feel comfortable enough to vote <br />without more information. <br />Councilmember Wuori stated that the Council needs time to discuss <br />this lighting. This item should have been discussed at a Council <br />Work Session. <br />Councilmember Quick asked Mayor Linke what information was <br />missing. <br />Mayor Linke felt that he needed to see what the interest was <br />from NSP and what are the funds in the contingency account. <br />MOTION/SECOND: Quick/Wuori to replace light fixtures in City <br />Hall and finance through Northern States Power for an interest <br />cost not to exceed $500 for the duration of the financing. <br />VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />b) Ulrich stated the Department has found another way to <br />use its emergency generator more efficiently in the running <br />• of two wells. <br />c) Ulrich reported that the Public Works Department had mailed <br />out 100 notices to select areas of the City regarding the <br />testing of the water for lead and copper.
