Mounds View City Council <br />~egular Meeting <br />Page Five <br />September 28, 1992 <br />Orduno asked that if any Councilmember had any other items that <br />they contact her by Friday of this week as the newsletter will go <br />to press on Monday. <br />Councilmember Rickaby asked if the names of the individuals on the <br />Environmental Quality Task Force be included in the article referring <br />to the same in the special newsletter. <br />Councilmember Quick commented that according to the last City survey, <br />the residents stated that they liked the short concise newsletter. <br />Quick stated that this small newsletter is a good way to get <br />information to the residents to keep them informed. <br />Councilmember Wuari commented that the Charter Commission was going <br />to look at reducing the number of newsletters. Wuori suggested that <br />perhaps the size of the newsletters could be cut down and the City <br />could send out a couple of large brochures with Park and Recreation <br />information and more of the small newsletters. <br />Mayor Linke commented that he is a member of the Charter Commission <br />and will bring this up at the Commission's meeting in November. <br />~EPORTS• <br />Report of Councilmembers <br />Councilmember Blanchard - No report. <br />Councilmember Quick - No report. <br />Councilmember Wuori - No report. <br />Councilmember Rickaby - No report. <br />Report of Mayor Linke: <br />Mayor Linke reported that a week or so ago the Irondale <br />Marching Band participated in field show competition in <br />Waseca and took all of the honors. <br />Report of Administrator: <br />1. Samantha Orduno announced that there will be a meeting of <br />the Golf Course Task Force on October 8 at 6:00 p.m. at <br />City Hall. The public is welcome to attend. <br />Mayor Linke stated that he would like to attend occasionally <br />and there are two other Councilmembers on the Task Force. <br />.This would be a quorum so he asked staff to post a notice <br />to this affect. Orduno reported that this had already <br />been done and staff would continue posting notice when <br />these meetings occur. <br />
