Mounds View City Council January 3,2011 <br /> IIISpecial Meeting Page 3 <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Gunn. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7718, <br /> Selection Of the Official Newspaper (Sun Focus), Acting Mayor (Council Member Mueller), <br /> Treasurer and Official Depositories for 2011. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> B. Resolution 7719, Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as <br /> Representatives for City Commissions and Other Organizations. <br /> Assistant City Administrator Crane stated the Council would need to discuss appointments of <br /> City Council Members for City Commissions and other organizations this evening. She <br /> indicated there was no change to the City Council so the appointments could be left as is, or <br /> altered if schedules have changed. <br /> Council Member Gunn expressed interest in serving on the Human Resources Committee. <br /> Council Member Mueller indicated she would be willing to step down from her position to allow <br /> Council Member Gunn to serve on this committee. <br /> Council Member Mueller indicated she would be willing to serve as an alternate for the YMCA <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> II/ Mayor Flaherty questioned if any Council Member was interested in serving on the Minnesota <br /> Metro North Tourism Committee. <br /> Council Member Mueller expressed interest. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 7719, <br /> Appointing City Council Members and City Staff as Representatives for City Commissions and <br /> Other Organizations as discussed. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> 8. CONSENT AGENDA <br /> None. <br /> 9. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS <br /> Finance Director Beer answered the Council's questions related to claims. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Stigney. To Approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. <br /> Ayes—5 Nays—0 Motion carried. <br /> • <br />
