Mr. <br /> Nagel stated legal waivers have to be signed by a parent in order for children to use the park. He <br /> further explained that his organization would have the necessary insurance on the facility. <br /> Council Member Stigney asked if the PUD amendment covered all the insurance requirements <br /> for recreational uses. Planning Associate Heller indicated the building owners would regulate <br /> the insurance required for the facility. <br /> Council Member Hull inquired how many employees would be needed for the use. Mr. Nagel <br /> estimated 25-30 employees would be needed at the trampoline park. <br /> Council Member Gunn questioned when the facility would be open and ready for use. Mr. Nagel <br /> hoped to have the doors open in four to five months. He stated November 1st was the goal. <br /> Mayor Flaherty asked what type of signage would be placed on the building. Mr. Nagel stated <br /> this was limited within the lease and he would have to follow those guidelines. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Mueller. Continued Public Hearing,Resolution 7786,a Resolution to Consider an On- <br /> Sale Wine and 3.2 Walt Liquor License Renewal for Taiko Sushi Bar located <br /> at 2394 County Highway 10. <br /> Assistant City Administrator Crane stated this was a continued public hearing from the May 23rd <br /> City Council meeting. The City Council continued the public hearing to allow the owner to be <br /> present this evening to speak further on the delinquent property tax and public utility bills. She <br /> reported the delinquent utility bill was paid on May 31st in full. However, Taiko Sushi Bar still <br /> had $42,390.97 in outstanding property taxes. Staff recommended the liquor license be denied at <br /> this time. Council could opt to approve the license with conditions. <br /> Mayor Flaherty noted the public hearing was being continued from the May 23r1 meeting. <br /> Robert Norell, 1842 Long Lake Road, New Brighton, indicated he was the first customer at <br /> Taiko Sushi Bar and continues to be a weekly customer. He noted he was speaking for the owner <br /> of Taiko Sushi, Scott, as communication was difficult for him. Mr. Norell stated that new <br /> businesses in the community have drastically affected the Taiko Sushi Bar. His business has <br /> been cut in half by 50%. Mr. Norell stated the clientele at Taiko appreciate the quality of food <br /> • provided and want to keep the establishment fully operational. He explained that only 10% of <br />
